Spare a Thought
Some extremely sad news to announce........our latest Blog entry was to have been a happy and fun affair following a fantastic evening as guests of the new restaurant The Jetty.
But unfortunately, on Sunday morning, Elio Trapani, who has been an amazing addition to the Wildfire team, was involved in an extremely serious road bike accident and is fighting for his life in Southampton!
Our thoughts and prayers are with not only Elio, but his wonderful family who have not left his bedside - Mark and all.
Elio - be strong and come back to us....your spirit is here!
Sweet Boxes
Is it wrong to get so excited by some boxes? When they look as delicious as the fudge inside, you can.
This is some recent work by us here at Wildfire, for County Confectionery and their Copperpot Fudge brand. 'Inspired by traditional copper pot cooking methods, our range of classic English confectionery treats have been created from authentic recipes. Our products are made using only the finest natural ingredients.'

We're busy boys at the moment, but in case you didn't know who we are, I will give you a little introduction of the Wildfire team:
Simon aka. Bruce Willis - Hardman and the one in control – 'yippe ki yay motherf***er'
Darren a.k.a. Ross from Friends - 'Geeky, loveable…' taken from Wikipedia about Ross Geller – that's our Darren.
Matt a.k.a. Lightyear - Troubleshooter and lover of all things digital
Elio a.k.a. George Micheal's mate - Loud, colourful and generally quite forgettable.
The wait is finally over…
As Simon announced in his previous post, there is a new designer at Wildfire – me. My name is Elio and after some over-ambitious claims, I managed to secure the job and the responsibility of looking after the blog! So now I have to keep the masses (you) entertained with fantastic yarns from the goings on at Wildfire, and what better way than a brief introduction from myself…
After a year of soul searching, and various entrepreneurial enterprises - at Wildfire I've finally found my calling. I commute from Portsmouth, travelling four hours every day to be here, and whilst I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would end up in Bournemouth, I'm growing rather fond of this quaint seaside-town. It's just a shame I have to travel through Southampton to get here!
What I lack in industry experience, I hope I more than make up for in creativity and passion. I've spent time working in some big advertising agencies but personally, it's exciting to be a part of a growing team, of like-minded individuals who are passionate at producing top quality work, and I hope that I can add to the solid foundations already laid by my predecessor.
If you follow the blog, I hope you enjoy my ramblings. And if you're a client of Wildfire, I look forward to working with you…

Congratulations!
Following some very tough decisions, we are delighted to announce that Elio Trapani will be joining the Wildfire team as of Wednesday 16th June 2010!
Elio graduated last year from the University of Creative Arts, Epsom, with first class honours in Graphic Design (so he'd better be good!!!). We believe that he will add a completely different dimension to the team, and we look forward to working with him.
Elio was the successful candidate from over 50 applications for the role that was posted on GumTree and on this site. Thanks to all who applied!

When blogging what do you write, show or demonstrate.......should we use it a little like Facebook and just talk about what we do, what we think and post photos of things that inspire us??
We just don't want a blog to be like most - which ours recently became - staid, historic and not updated for weeks or even months. That is why we have taken everything off for now and posted this!
